Contributing to a better society

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, & Belonging (DEIB)

Now more than ever, companies and organizations are dedicating efforts to foster work forces that are not only diverse, but equitable and inclusive.  Studies show that diversity among staff yields better results.  It is also the right thing to do.

Like many other employment practices, DEIB efforts are subject to potential legal scrutiny and risk, as statutory protected classifications inherently come into focus.  Organizations must be cautious so as not to ostracize various groups in an effort to include others.  Doing so could lead to substantial legal, financial, reputational, and cultural liabilities. 

 

PractiCali Law understands the importance of DEIB outcomes and strategies; our approaches derive from a strong grasp of legal principles and hands on experience driving workplace programs with successful results.   

 

Community
